Are you bored with same default application icons on taskbar and start menu? Usually in Windows 7 we pin many frequently used applications. These applications comes with their own icons which appears the same when pinned to taskbar. 7Confiner is a windows freeware application that allow you to change start menu and taskbar icons. It is an easy to use utility without any tedious user configurations. By default it provides 3 icon packages named Eclipse 2, Token Dark and Token light, these can be easily installed just by selecting and applying them. While selecting the packages you will get detailed information on them with icon preview. You can also backup default icons that can be used in case if something goes wrong.

It also provides options to edit icon packages and add new icon packages. To apply changes on taskbar you must pin the applications first you want to change icons for and then apply the icon package.

    my files or application icons has gone missing in the all programs in
    the start menu. please help me! how do i get it back? this happened
    after using confiner 7. I fogot to create back up in confiner7,i deleted
    confiner also, and my windows sytem restore is not working. I even
    tried the icon cache restore method and loads of other things but
    nothing seems to be working. please help me get my icons back somebody
    because although i can access my apps through c drive, the missing apps
    are malfunctioning!!! :(
