ADrive’s website said they will be leaving beta soon, and will have version 1.0 with “a backup client, WebDAV, SSL encryption, file history (snapshot) & file history recovery, offsite backup, and additional storage plans”.

The service looks v. good, except for now it seems that there is no security or pswd encryption. Security is not discussed with any detail on the web site, except SSL is coming soon.

I would like to know how much fine-print is behind the 50GB free*? Is it free for 14 days and then I have to pay? I like http://www.myotherdrive.com because the 5GB free is permanently free - and I can use them for both online backup and file sharing - kind of a Mozy and box.net in one.
