ALZip is an archive and compression utility that has a neat and easy to use interface. ALZip can open 36 ZIP, archive and compression file formats, and create compressed archives in 8 different formats (alz, zip, lzh, cab, jar, tar, tgz, bh).

You can open and extract alz, ace, arc, arj, b64, bh, bhx, bin (hex files), bin (CD images), bz2, cab, ear, enc, gz, ha, ice, iso, jar, lcd, lha, lzh, mim, pak, rar, tar, tgz, uue, uu, war, xxe, z, zip, zoo, 7z, and 001files.

ALZip is easily and fully customizable to suit the way you work. You can specify how ALZip looks, functions, and behaves. Change details columns, open CD image files, create new folders faster, auto-test archives, or add anti-virus scanner integration.

ALZip can use your virus scanner to automatically scan files. You can configure ALZip to run anti-virus scanners automatically when you open or create archives.

The program supports creation of self-extracting archives and can also open CD image files (.ISO, .BIN), allowing you to view and extract the content. Other features include password recovery, archive splitting, command-line options and support for large ZIP64 files.
