FireShot is a Firefox extension that creates screenshots of web pages. Unlike other extensions, this plugin provides a set of editing and annotation tools, which let users quickly modify captures and insert text and graphical annotations.

FireShot is based on Screenshot Studio, including transparent GUI, vector graphic tools and bitmap processing algorithms to make your life easy.

With FireShot, you can:

• Capture a web page as an image
• Capture screens in GDI, DirectX, OpenGL
• Save to PNG, JPEG, BMP
• Copy to clipboard
• Send screenshot via email
• Open screenshot in MS Paint
• Edit screenshot
• Add text and graphical annotations.

FireShot allows you to choose whether to capture entire web page or only visible part of the page. Screenshots can be saved to disk (PNG, JPEG, BMP), copied to clipboard, e-mailed and sent to external editor for further processing.
