Previously i have covers free web FTP client services transfer files on your FTP server using web browser. However, the online FPT client services doesn’t offers FTP features as many as desktop FTP client software.

So, i have compiled a list of Windows FTP client freeware that offers complete FTP account management and FTP functionality to upload and download files to your FTP server. Meanwhile, the Windows FTP client freeware also support various file transfer protocol technology to transfer file such as FTP, FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).

On FTP connection, Filezilla FTP Client can work wells under firewalls and proxy connections as well as Kerberos GSS security. Plus more, it has the ability to pause or resume the FTP file downloading or uploading on anytime and file transfer size can exceed 4GB.
