All you need is create a FTP account profile with NetDrive on first time program launch. Once NetDrive connected to your FTP server, it will automatically mapped under an available drive letter as a local drive. Then you can start drag and drop files to your mounted FTP drives like normal windows local drives. To disconnect from the FTP server, just bring up the NetDrive window again and hit the disconnect button.

Beside that, you can also configure NetDrive to automatically map an FTP site as Windows drive when your computer starts. Meanwhile, you can play video, audio files and run exe files etc directly via NetDrive. Plus more, there is no limit for the number of sites that can be added. It comes with pre loaded with a few anonymous FTP servers like KDE, GNOME, FreeBSD, Adobe, Apple, HP and Microsoft servers.

I personally think NetDrive is a very good data backup utility that automatically backs up files to an FTP server as remote storage. At least, we no need to relay on FTP client.
