Notepad 2008 - MS Office Ribbon UI on Notepad Text Editor

Notepad 2008, a Notepad text editor that resembles MS office Ribbon UI on it. This notepad 2008 Ribbon UD application looks very neat and features most notepad functionality. This is a Windows 7 inspired Ribbon UI Notepad. Yeah, i want to beat Microsoft to the punch.

After having seen screen shots for the Windows 7 build of Paint, i got Inspired. Anyway, Itss done in C#.net and VB.net. Seeing as how this is one of my first C# apps, a notepad type editor is a good beginning app.

Anyway, It has only Notepad type functionality now, i would like to get it up to WordPad (advanced txt and rtf) functionality soon.

YES, it uses up RAM, because of how it does MDI and such, I am working on making the requirements much less.

This freeware gives notepad good UI and it also has different styles/themes to select from. It also included tabbed text editing and gives more features to Notepad like justification, font type and size, plus a search and replace feature.

So, Notepad 2008 is a good replacement for default Windows Notepad application or Notepad++ in term of user interface. However, this Notepad 2008 require Microsoft .Net framework 3.5 to run but no installation is required.  Meanwhile, Notepad 2008 text editor application can be run as portable software.
