WordPad 2009, newer wordpad XP and Vista version that designed based on Windows 7 inspired Ribbon UI Notepad ( Notepad 2008) concept which developed by Solo Dev. This Wordpad notepad has added in ribbon interfaces and support more files format compare to Notepad 2008.

Apart from mainstream Ribbon interface, Wordpad 2009 also incorporates tabbed browsing, enabling us to edit multiple text files at once, preview of fonts in font selection box, drag and dropped text files open in a new tab, drag and dropped pictures go in to active tab, equipped with Windows 7 icons and faster rendering engine. Plus more, Wordpad 2009 can read more file format standard like Text, HTML (HTM, HTML, and XHTML), CSS ,INI, INF, BAT, and CMD.

Wordpad 2009 includes three skins color: blue, black and the default color of the operating system. However, your computer requires. NET 2.0 and is in English to run Wordpad 2009. But it no installation requires and the files size of Wordpad 2009 is around 400KB.  Plus more, Wordpad 2009 can be run as portable wordpad.
