Propel PBM is a Personal Bandwidth Manager that helps you manage your bandwidth on your PC.

Propel PBM determines the priority in which applications can make demands on your network bandwidth to ensure that you are making the most of your Internet connection and shows detailed information about how your network connection is used in real time. With Propel PBM in place, you can accept the VoIP call and maintain high call quality, while the photo upload continues in the background.

Propel PBM helps utilize your bandwidth in two ways:

• Automatic traffic prioritization - Propel PBM automatically prioritizes network access for your time-sensitive applications, improving the inbound and outbound performance of VoIP calls (i.e., Skype), video calls, online games, and streaming media.
• Traffic monitor - Propel PBM’s Traffic Monitor displays your bandwidth use by application in real-time, allowing you to track your cumulative bandwidth use and to detect any hidden malware using your Internet connection.
