Sort My Files: Organize Files by File Type

We download lots of files each and every day on our system. These files are of various types that can be broadly categorized as videos, music, documents, programs etc. It is a common practice that we download all files in a single folder hence this folder gets stuffed and highly unorganized over a long period of time. Organizing these files manually is a tiresome job. this task can be easily performed with Sort My Files.

Sort my Files is a free portable application for windows. It has a simple interface with a single window to work with. The only task you have to do is select a source folder in which you want to sort and organize the files. Once the source folder is selected you can either use the default provided folders to sort file within the source folder or select paths separately.

Once all the settings are done, you can sort your files. Sorting is quick and depends on number of items present in the source folder.
