SSDream, a small Vista application set your screen saver like Vista Ultimate DreamScene features. As Dreamscene is exclusive to Windows Vista Ultimate users only which use Video Wallpapers as the desktop background. However, SSDream is the alternative software solution that install dreamscene features on XP and normal vista edition.

It allows XP and vista user enjoy similar dreamscene features on their desktop. Beside that, you can play around the volume , images setting of the video wallpapers. Meanwhile, any video that plays in Windows Media Player should work with SSDream as well. Plus more, you can create your own playlist to switch the wallpaper to video , pictures or screen saver according your setting on each interval time setting.

However, there is limitation on SSDream video wallpaper which it does not only supports wmv and mpeg-2 compatible video formats;

From the functionality, Seem like SSDream is greater than Vista Ultimate DreamScene. However, SSDream doesn’t support Windows Xp and i expecting the SSDream will support XP soon..
