Steekr , An online backups storage service with automated backup software for Windows and Mac OS. Steekr is a sibling product to SteekUp, parent company Agematis, business-centric backup storage service that gives customers 100GB with a paid subscription.

Steekr is slightly different from skeetUp which Steekr provides 1GB storage space for free to store whatever files or document they want. Once stored online, the storage files can be shared out to everyone and audio/video files can be played directly from browser window.

On usage, Steekr backups storage is easy to use. All you need is install their backups storages on Windows or Mac client platform and the backups storage client software will automate the entire backups on their backups server. Else you have to use the web based interface to upload your files.

With Steekr, you can simply perform the below task:

• store your music, your pictures, your videos and all your personal files online.
• Play and listen to your digital files directly in your browser.
• Share your files with your friends or relatives.

I personally newcomer like steekr will be facing tough competition on online backups storage since online backups storage market have player like XDrive, DivShare, Box.net and AMD MediaVault offer more online storage space compare to them. If Steekr wants to stand out, it’s either going to have to make files a little easier to manage, or increase more on the online backups storage space.
