VisuWords - Online Graphical Dictionary Provides Fast Definitions
VisuWords is yet another online dictionary that allows you to view and explore the connections between different words in graphical interfaces similar to Visual Thesaurus.
Look up words to find their meanings and associations with other words and concepts. Produce diagrams reminiscent of a neural net. Learn how words associate.
Visuwords uses Princeton University’s WordNet, an open source database built by University students and language researchers. Combined with a visualization tool and user interface built from a combination of modern web technologies, Visuwords is available as a free resource to all patrons of the web.
To start search, simply enter words into the search box and hit Enter. VisuWords will then search and display the results in a graphical expanding tree branch. You can double-click on a node to expand the tree, use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, drag the background to pan around, mouse hover over nodes to see the definition and click and drag individual nodes to move them around.

VisuWords not only display result for synonyms and antonyms, but also hypernyms, hyponyms, meronyms, and holonyms. Words are displayed using colors to denote parts of speech (noun, verb etc) while the type of line linking the words clarifies the connection.

VisuWords is also available under an open source license, so you can download and install it on your local server.
