Xinco DMS - Open Source Document Management Systems

In my previous post, i talked about KnowledgeTree, a commercial open source document management system. And here is another system called Xinco DMS [eXtensibe INformation COre]. Xinco DMS is a powerful web-based server-client Information and Document Management System (DMS) for files, text, URLs and contacts, featuring ACLs, version control, full text search and an FTP-like client.

Xinco DMS consists of the Xinco DMS Server and a client application called XincoExplorer. It’s client and server applications are basically independent. This means that you can set up various Xinco DMS Servers on your intranet and any user with XincoExplorer installed can access any of these servers. XincoPublisher is a servlet that is part of the Xinco DMS Server web application and can be accessed with any web browser.
