7. DirectX 11 officialy support windows vista. DX 11 is made for win 7 and vista. And about windows xp… DX 11 will never be avalaible for windows xp. move on people, you are using a 8 years old OS. By the way DX 10 wos never ported for win xp… it wos fake, it never truly worked. I heard a lot of people saying that they are using dx 10 on xp but they were runing dx 9 version of the game.

   So, I really don’t know what you think you were doing, but linking to a download for DX 11 you were not.

      What windows operating system that you using to play far cry. i believe you can play far cry very smooth if you have DirectX 11 graphic card and DirectX 11 installed on computer.

    if you’re end user, just download the Web Installer exe enough already.

    Normally DirectX SDK is designed for game developer

    • DIrectX 11 end user package is meant for those user want to install DirectX 11 files only on their computer. ( Normally for those novice or gamer)

      But DirectX SDK is difference, which this package contain all DirectX component to build custom DirectX files.
